The directors of Go Drive have been actively involved in professional driver education, driving instructor training, recruitment and company management for more than 20 years at the highest level. Go Drive therefore has an in depth wealth of experience and is well placed to ensure future success.
Go Drive enters the driving instruction industry at a most exciting time. It is essential to be able to travel independently and so the importance of learning to drive cannot be ignored. With the number of lessons taken by each learner to pass the driving test increasing year on year. The driving test itself is becoming ever more complex and demanding and as road conditions become busier the result has been, and continues to be, an explosion in the number of driving lessons given.
An average pupil will take approximately 45 hours of professional tuition and an average of 20 hours private practice to pass the current practical driving test, compared to about 18 hours just 20 years ago. This creates unlimited opportunities for enthusiastic and professional new driving instructors to enter the industry and have control over their future.
Go Drive has recognised these opportunities and has set a target to recruit more than a 1,000 professional new instructors nationwide. These instructors will benefit from having first call on a network of support second to none in this industry.
